Jason Grabowski, BSME

Chief Executive Officer

Jason has more than 30 years’ experience in mechanical estimation, construction and operations, and has been employed with B&I Contractors, Inc. since 1991. He holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Duke University.

Brian Kelly

Chief Financial Officer

Brian has more than 30 years of experience in accounting, financial management and information system applications. He holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting with 15 years’ experience in manufacturing business systems and 16 years in the construction industry. Brian also has extensive experience in risk and insurance management and is OSHA-certified. He also holds numerous certifications in technology and software applications. Brian started his career with B&I Contractors, Inc. in July 2001.

Mike Novo

Chief Operating Officer

With over 38 years of dedicated experience in commercial and industrial piping, Mike Novo serves as Chief Operating Officer at B&I Contractors, Inc. With a 25-year career at B&I, Mike brings a wealth of expertise and a deep commitment to the company’s core values. In his role, Mike oversees all aspects of field operations and coordinates with support groups, a role he has honed through years of leadership and hands-on experience.

Under Mike’s strategic leadership, B&I continues to thrive, setting benchmarks in the industry through innovation, reliability, and a steadfast dedication to quality. His profound knowledge and hands-on approach have been instrumental in shaping the company’s operational framework and fostering a culture of excellence.

Additional B&I Experience:

Mike managed and supervised all aspects of the HVAC and pipe-fitting department. He was responsible for monitoring and controlling job costs and budgets, as well as achieving departmental budgetary goals and company objectives.

Mike worked with the job foreman on planning, scheduling and tracking job progress through completion.

Mike planned and executed installation and fabrication of HVAC systems with craftsmanship and safety.

Over 37 years of experience in engineering, estimating and project management, 27 years as President and CEO for B&I Contractors, Inc., an employee owned mechanical, electrical, HVAC and plumbing contracting firm with 2023 revenues of $188 million.

Professional B&I Experience:

Oversees the 24-hour HVAC service, refrigeration department, and special projects.

Jeff performed estimating and project management of mechanical, plumbing and electrical projects including schools, hospitals, government office buildings, nursing homes, office buildings, etc. Jeff also provided supervision of project managers.

Jeff has over 36 years’ experience in mechanical, electrical and plumbing design, construction and operation. He holds a B.S.M.E from the University of South Florida and has been registered with the state of Florida since 1992 as a certified mechanical, plumbing and general contractor. Also holds the state of Florida LP Gas License for B&I Contractors, Inc. and is LEED-certified in new construction. Jeff started his career with B&I in 1995.
