Fort Myers, Fla. – B&I Contractors was selected and awarded as Goodwill Industries of Southwest Florida’s “Business of the Year” for 2020. The honors were presented at the Breakthrough Award ceremony, held at the Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre on Tuesday, May 18. The annual event recognizes individuals and businesses who have advanced the Goodwill Mission throughout the prior year.
B&I Contractors has provided mechanical and electrical service to Goodwill SWFL for the past 15 years, with some major projects completed in 2020. Goodwill SWFL selected B&I Contractors not only for their long-standing business relationship, but also for their shared vision in providing a hand-up to the community through opportunity and education. B&I Contractors has not only provided financial support to help fund Goodwill programs and services, but every year they also sponsor a decorated Christmas Tree for the annual Festival of Trees fundraiser held at the Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center. Each December, that tree is raffled off to a lucky winner raising funds to support Goodwill mission services.
