Mainsail “Luminary” Hotel & Garage

B&I was contracted for the HVAC scope of this much-anticipated project in downtown Fort Myers. With the hotel being connected to the Caloosa Sound Conference Center, the two buildings share a central energy plant which is located within the event center. The plant feeds air handlers for the common spaces of the hotel and stacked fan coil units serve the rooms. Work performed included the installation of air handling units, rooftop units, horizontal blower coil units, variable frequency drives, chilled water piping, air distribution, fans, fire dampers, fire smoke dampers, unit heater, duct heater, louvers and terminal units. Also, included in the hotel’s kitchen was the installation of exhaust fans and kitchen and dishwasher hoods.
