Honoring Educators and Community and Business Partners
Fort Myers, FL (May 14, 2021) – The Foundation for Lee County Public Schools in partnership with The School District of Lee County, hosted the Partners in Education- State of Our Schools event on May 14th at the Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre. This event honored the educators and support staff “our heroes” in the School District of Lee County for the wonderful job they have done this past year to ensure student safety and success. Marshall Bower also announced B&I Contractors and Wawa as Business Partners of the Year and Lee Health and United Way as Community Partners of the Year.
“The real heroes during this past year include our educators and business partners who understand the significance of engaging with our students and teachers”, said Marshall Bower Esq., President & CEO of the FLCPS. “Teachers are the most important profession I can think of. They play a huge role in helping our greatest community asset, our students to become our future employees and employers and community leaders”.
Superintendent, Dr. Greg Adkins, addressed the business community on the progress, accomplishments, and vision of The School District of Lee County. Harlan Parrish, Board Chairman for The Foundation for Lee County Public Schools and Marshall Bower, President and CEO gave an update regarding the accomplishments of the Foundation for Lee County Public Schools and our goals going forward.
