B&I Participates in Junior Achievement of Southwest Florida

Junior Achievement of Southwest Florida

B&I recently participated in a community event to allow students across Lee and Collier counties to connect with employers and explore exciting career paths. With over 6,000 students in attendance and organizations from seven diverse industries, the students were given time to explore job options for when they finish their time in their respective schools.

Designed to meet the workforce demands of our region’s fast-growing industries, Junior Achievement Inspire is an interactive, highly engaging career expo for middle and high students in Collier and Lee Counties. Following a curriculum taught in classrooms, students attend the JA Inspire career expo to have meaningful conversations with real Southwest Florida employers and learn what it takes to earn credentials, gain real-world work experience, and ultimately become employed.

As a leader in the community, B&I Contractors wants to grow its employee base with qualified local talent. With their internship program, B&I sets up future employees with the skills and experience needed for proficiency in the fields. This process helps prepare them for the day-to-day tasks that go into the field of work they choose!

If you are interested in working for a local industry leader in contracting work, B&I Contractors is the place for you. With their recent Great Place to Work designation for a second year in a row, the support and comradery of your peers help make this a job you are excited to get up for every morning!
