B & I Contractors hosts a blood drive as a response to severe blood shortage in the area.
Fort Myers, FL (February 19, 2020): B & I Project Engineer, Trey Dougherty, became aware of the recently reported severe blood shortage and was moved to take action. The Lee Health Blood Mobile came to B & I Contractors on Tuesday, February 18 and a total of 21 employees signed up to donate blood. This more than doubled the goal of collecting 10 units. B & I’s mission is to help create awareness and save lives.
Happy first-time blood donor Justin Holland remarked, “I am thankful that B & I had the blood donation drive. I’ve wanted to give blood in the past, but always made an excuse, glad I could finally help out!”
